Strengthening Ecosystem, Enterprise, and Diaspora (SEED) Project
About:
The SEED Project is a 3-year diaspora-led acceleration program designed to empower Palestinian startups, SMEs, and innovation hubs with a strong social, environmental, or cultural focus.
By leveraging the expertise and global networks of the Palestinian diaspora, we provide a unique platform for growth, innovation, and internationalization.
Target:
The SEED Project aims to support 12 startups and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with high growth potential. Beneficiaries must align with the program’s objectives of promoting gender diversity, sustainability, and social cohesion.
The SEED Project will also target 3 Innovation Hubs that foster entrepreneurship and support the growth of startups and SMEs. These hubs will play a critical role in providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to emerging businesses.
Methodology:
The project has two main components:
Market Access & Diaspora Acceleration: Connect Palestinian entrepreneurs and SMEs with global markets, investors, and expertise through a network of diaspora business enablers.
Ecosystem Development: Intensive support will be provided to three high-potential innovation hubs. A combination of private sector support, policy and advocacy support will be utilized to develop the ecosystem.
