Women's Empowerment

Women's Empowerment

At 48.2 percent, women account for nearly half the population across the MENA region. Yet, despite this significant number, women are faced with many persisting challenges such as barriers to economic participation and equitable opportunities, which can lead to weakened social positions and the perpetuation of systemic disparities based on perceived gender roles. We address these concerns by working with the international donor community and local stakeholders on the design and implementation of empowerment programs that strategically meet the needs of marginalized women throughout the MENA region.

As such, our integrated programs empower women with the competencies, tools, resources, and networks of support needed to overcome socioeconomic structural disparities to become self-sufficient and access equitable economic opportunities on a local, regional, and even global basis. Our programs also help women with a vocational background learn how to translate their skills into sustainable business opportunities. We do this via business and financial management training, digital marketing training to increase outreach and visibility, access to leading mentors, and most importantly, gateways to local and regional markets, which is essential to the long-term viability of any emerging business.
