About project:
The aim of the consultancy was to undertake an extensive local and regional market assessment and analysis, which broadly defined the key players in the Palestinian local market, touching on key startups/SMEs with established products/services and with existing linkages outside the local market. This was followed by a detailed assessment of potential regional and international market opportunities. The project outlined regional enablers that could serve as market access gateways for local startups/SMEs.

The overall aim of this study was to identify critical gaps facing ecosystem players that serve as hindrances to their development and growth, with a particular focus on addressing the core barriers to entry into regional markets. The study provided a deep dive assessment into the current approaches undertaken by local startups and SMEs when entering new target markets, highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced in the process.
