Jobs for Unemployed Youth in Northern West Bank
About:
The project will address the rising unemployment rates in Palestine, estimated at 46.1% in 2024, with an emphasis in Nablus as conflict and poverty rates continue to rise. By facilitating meaningful job opportunities, the project aims to promote skills development and long-term employment for Palestinian youth, thereby contributing to poverty alleviation and economic stability in Nablus.
Target:
The target includes 200 (150 male and 50 female) unemployed youth aged 18-29 in Nablus Governorate, encompassing both males and females who are semi-skilled and possess a high school diploma, TVET certificate, or have dropped out of high school.
Methodology:
The intervention will be implemented through a multi-faceted approach:
