Mohenad Ghassan Itayim has over 15 years of international experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Real Estate Acquisitions, Asset Management & Development—an unusual and multifaceted career track for an aspiring architect who has created, managed and developed several companies, either as founder, CEO or senior executive.

He has been involved with leading companies such as Franklin Templeton Real Asset Advisors, the Abraaj Group, SinoGulf, and Sadara Ventures. Angel investor with early investments in companies incl.: Dataguise Didja Inc. Kerv, Allseated, and Point Inside — Vestech Partners has over $30M assets under management. Mohenad’s primary focus is CrystalPoint Partners an investment firm specialized in deploying high risk capital to initiate projects from its own account, prior to bringing in globally leading corporate partners to support execution. Additionally, he is currently an Advisor to UN-Habitat.

Attracted to the arena for intellectual stimulation, the thrill of building companies, the power of values-driven leadership and a people-first culture, Mohenad launched Oculus Ventures, a venture consulting & leadership advisory firm providing executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping services to businesses and business leaders worldwide. Highly successful in building relationships with upper-level decision-makers and stakeholders globally—and deploying resources towards several for-profit and social impact-driven initiatives.

Outside of advising entrepreneurs how to build great companies, and investors realize great returns, he sits on the board of Build Palestine, and is an advisor to Palestinian Internship Program and spends his time advising and mentoring the startup and student community — as well as part of an initiative to develop the Palestinian technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem with other stakeholders.

Mohenad seeks outcomes in the spheres of entrepreneurship, education, social and economic growth. Mohenad received a MSc from Columbia University and his BSc from Arizona State University.
